I created the main title treatment for the Official Trailer of Instant Family. The client liked the logo and my treatment enough that they decided to use it throughout the campaign. In the end they moved from the cooler blue palette to white and orange, but they kept the animation intact.
This piece was a LOT of fun to make. Initially I wanted to give each letter a lot of life by employing squash and stretch, but found the text animation tools in After Effects to be a little lacking. Instead, I rigged up each letter in the "instant" part of the main title so I could squash and stretch them. Animated on 1's at 24fps without curves to get that semi-imperfect feel.
